Internationally acclaimed photographer Deblonde was invited to
work with award-winning director Lynne Ramsay on her latest film,
MORVERN CALLAR. Rather than conventionally documenting the film's
production, Deblonde used this unique opportunity to produce a very
individual response to the project that works as a memorable counterpoint
to the film. The richly coloured images in this exhibition not only
feature the cast - Samantha Morton (recently seen starring alongside
Tom Cruise in Minority Report) and newcomer Kathleen McDermott -
but also the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland's west coast and
the Almeria region of southern Spain. Gautier, who was voted one
of Time Out's Style 50, describes the work as 'a series of discoveries;
infiltrations of a private world, intimate spaces and obsessions'.
