Trish Morrissey's exhibition WWM challenges society's expectations
of physical beauty in a witty and surprisingly frank way. The women
photographed in this show are presented in a very glamorous light
and, at first glance, these appear to be relatively straight fashion
shots. On closer inspection, however, the viewer discovers that
the subjects have defied or disregarded convention of bleaching
or shaving facial hair, be it a very light and subtle down, or a
more luxuriant growth.
