Roy Mehta
British
Born 1968
Roy Mehta's most recent work documents Britain's coastline, from the developed south coast to the remotest shores of northern Scotland, in a cultural metaphor for the nation itself. This selection of images reveals a haphazard landscape of coastal structures and forms, often barren, but frequently sublimely beautiful.
Mehta has exhibited extensively in the UK, including at The National Museum of Film, Photography and Television, Bradford, Ffotogallery, Cardiff and Impressions Gallery, York.
